Proffix Swiss Bike Cup Basel

My race report from the Swiss Bike Cup in Basel is quickly told, because it lasted only barely five minutes.

I was perfectly prepared, the material worked and on the two starting laps I was able to keep up with the world's best riders without much effort. Even on the narrow exit from the racetrack in Muttenz, I was in the top ten positions as planned. But then it happened, a rider cut me and my front wheel got caught in his rear derailleur. With a speed of almost 60km/h everything went very fast and I was already lying on the hard asphalt.

Fortunately, I only suffered bruises and abrasions. With some physio appointments, I'll be ready again until the World Championships next weekend.
